Day 1

The team has arrived safely and their work has already begun . . .

Our first day in Haiti has been an awesome one!  There has been a pleasant breeze and cooler-than-normal temperatures.  Everyone on the team is doing well, and the Haitian ladies are feeding us well, as usual.

As soon as we arrived, our work began.  We packed 4600 gift bags today with the help of our Haitian friends.  We had two rooms going - one for the girls and one for the boys.  Please pray for more funds to come in to buy more toys for the boys.

Another church contributed these "towel" gifts of wash cloths, shampoo, soap, comb, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste.  Children in some of the poorest orphanages will receive these along with one toy.
