Day 2

Today was a day of work and play.  

Bags were packed again with the help of our Haitian friends.  We were short on toys for the boys (2500 more needed), tracts, and cookies, so we stopped packing to go shopping for more supplies.

Katie, Tammy, and Muriel were able to spend some time at the girls' home playing with the girls.  Some of us were able to connect with and share gifts with the children whom we sponsor.

Our first party is tomorrow when we will be able to see the fruit of all of our hard work. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces when they watch the Christmas story acted out by the puppets and receiving a hot meal and their gifts  is priceless.  These children have so little, and it's amazing to see how happy they are in receiving one little bag.  For many of them, it's the only Christmas gift they will receive.
